Depending on your tariff slab, load pattern and roof area, commercial rooftop solar typically cuts your monthly electricity bill by 60–80%. A business paying ₹1 lakh a month usually saves ₹65,000–₹80,000 every month once the plant is commissioned — with the panels continuing to generate for 25+ years.

Roughly 100 sq ft (10 sq m) of clear, unshaded roof per kW of solar. A 100 kW plant needs about 10,000 sq ft; a 1 MW plant needs about 1 acre. Metal-sheet, RCC, north-light and shed roofs all work — we do a structural check as part of the free site survey.
Grid-connected commercial plants can export surplus power via net metering (up to 100% of your sanctioned load in most states) or net billing / gross metering — depending on the state DISCOM policy. Kamala Power handles the DISCOM feasibility application, net-meter installation, and settlement paperwork end-to-end.
For a 100–500 kW plant, from purchase order to grid-synced commissioning is typically 45–75 days: site survey (1 week), design + DISCOM approvals (2–3 weeks), structure fabrication and installation (2–3 weeks), commissioning + net-meter (1–2 weeks). We provide a fixed timeline in the contract.
