Sales & Marketing Intern

About the Role

This is not a coffee-fetching internship. As a Sales & Marketing Intern at Kamala Power, you'll work directly with our core team to build brand awareness, support live sales initiatives, and experiment with campaigns that reach real customers. You'll leave with a portfolio of actual results — and a deep understanding of how clean energy businesses grow.

What You'll Do

• Assist in running digital marketing campaigns on Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google.
• Support the sales team with lead generation, follow-ups, and CRM data entry.
• Help create content — social posts, brochures, and product explainers.
• Research market trends, competitors, and potential partnership opportunities.
• Participate in field visits, customer demos, and partner onboarding sessions.
• Monitor campaign performance and compile weekly analytics reports.
• Contribute ideas during team brainstorms and strategy meetings.

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong written communication skills in English; Telugu is a plus.
• Basic familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Ability to commit for a minimum of 3 months (full-time or part-time options available).
• Interest in clean energy, sustainability, or technology is highly valued.
